Class today....

                Being the third day of class, getting to know more about my classmates today was fun.  I didn't know there could be so many disagreements on just a few topics.  Sexuality has several argumentative points concerning homosexuals and the government.  Another point was added today about whether being homosexual was caused by the household environment or if they knew from the start.  Those are some pretty valid points and interesting.  I would like to hear other opinions on this topic and whether it will change views or their beliefs.  An additional idea for this topic would be birth control.  Do you think females should be on birth control and be safe about their sex life or have an unplanned pregnancy?  Any who, I was just finally glad to see all of us agree on one topic.  On the other hand, we still need two more topics and Mr. Sweeney suggested that it would be helpful if we jot down some ideas.  My roomy and I decide to be brave and write down the ideas on the board to see which topics out-weighed another.  From what I saw Environment and Crime and Punishment were the two best decisions to choose from but of course there was somebody who thought differently.  Environment had multiple choices to discuss from, although, one other person thought they would run out of things to write about.  One thing that always helped me was to use several sources.  They are helpful in your thinking process and are some handy dandy facts.  At first I was skeptical on writing about Crime and Punishment but when writing down some ideas helped me realize that it's not as awful as I made it out to be.  By the end of class, we still did not figure out our second or third essay.  Hopefully, class tomorrow we will have figured it out by then.
